Birch’s Commitment to Early Childhood Development
Birch Family Services has been serving young children for over three decades. Our preschool classrooms provide a caring and respectful environment for typically developing children, as well as children struggling with learning difficulties. We are always searching for innovative ways to provide our students with as many instructional opportunities that will help them achieve their highest potential, become life-long learners and develop into productive, responsible citizens of their community.
Birch Family Services recognizes the importance of child development through a rich educational setting that provides students with the proper stimulation to keep them interested in learning, discovering and exploring.
At the Birch Training Institute, we use our Early Childhood trainings to continue to help professionals provide best practices to:
- promote child engagement, independence, and mastery
- promote development in all important domains
- help children acquire beginning reading and writing skills
- help children and their families make smooth transitions.
Birch Family Services partners with Bank Street to offer Masters Level credit courses for early childhood professional development.
